Title: Open Community Currency

What is OPEN community currency?

Perhaps you have considered OPEN Source and
While I love the concept of an OPEN agreement...

OPEN Source (License) authorship readership agreements are
for published media permitted further development and benefit.

The Community/complementary currencies (cc) are closed loops.
A cc is a complete record of exchanges within a closed network.

Where Community members exchange their interests with members.
While all the exchanges are recorded as shifts in credits and debits.
Community Members have agreed to participate within agreed limits.

A Declaration of Community and Internal Exchange are self defined.
The Closed limitations of Membership and Exchange are self defined.
The Model of Self Defined is itself, a Community defined process.

So what in the world makes these currencies potentially OPEN?

Consider theoretical, emotional and practical living:

1. definitions of community can change
2. definitions of membership can change
3. definitions of exchange (what, how, why) can change
4. meta- community currency can form, deform and reform
5. Open Source tools are available for use and development

While I have been working on this broader subject for 10 years
the overall feedback I have recently received is, "just do it!".

I plan to table my vision at the next VisionCircle.net meeting.
Hmm, less than 2 weeks to bridge, integrate and task orientate.

Will http://humanifesto.org become a Pro-Creative Culture?

Will http://hubway.com.au become a Cooperative Hub?

Will I participate in ecological living in a Co-Housing Economy?

How do I: bring it all together?
